Standardizations

Standardizations

You can use the standardization elements to specify the
Casing
,
MaxLength
, and
MaxItemCount
values at the address element level and override the corresponding global settings.
For the
Casing
element, the default value is
GLOBAL
. If you set
Casing
to
GLOBAL
,
Informatica Address Verification
applies the same value of
GlobalCasing
to the
Casing
element of the Standardizations list. You can also set this element to
NATIVE
,
UPPER
,
LOWER
, or
MIXED
. For more information about these values see the
GlobalCasing
section.
The
MaxLength
element works the same way as the
GlobalMaxLength
parameter works. However, the
MaxLength
element under the Standardizations list affects only the specified address element.
MaxItemCount
has different value ranges for various elements. The following table lists valid values for address elements.
