Configuring the Optimization Level

Configuring the Optimization Level

You can specify the level of optimization that you want Informatica Address Verification to apply while parsing address elements for verification. The wider the level of optimization, the more matches and results Address Verification returns.
  • In
    Parameters.xml
    , set the
    OptimizationLevel
    attribute of the
    Process
element to one of the following values.
    • NARROW
. To strictly follow the input assignment of address elements. The only change is to separate house number from the street information.
    • STANDARD
. To parse and independently verify address elements including postal code, locality, province, subbuilding, and house number information. This is the default value for the
      OptimizationLevel
      attribute.
    • WIDE
. To parse and independently verify all possible elements.
