Downloading Reference Address Databases

Downloading Reference Address Databases

Use the Database Download Manager client application to download multiple reference address databases at a time.
  1. In the client application, optionally specify one or more of the filter options.
    To make multiple selections from the Country and Database Types lists, hold down the
    Ctrl
     or
    Shift
     key and select the values.
  2. Select the
    Download
     option for each database that you want to download.
  3. Click
    Proceed to Download
    .
    The application displays the list of files that you selected for download and the download option.
  4. Choose the following options:
    • To download only absent or newer versions of the databases in the download directory, select
      Smart Download
      . If you disable the
      Smart Download
       option, the Database Download Manager client downloads all of the databases that you specified.
    • To enable the Download Manager overwrite the files in the download directory, select
      Overwrite Old Files
      .
  5. Enter the download location in the
    File save path
     field.
  6. To download the files, click
    Start Download
    .
    The progress bars in the download list shows the progress of the downloads as a percentage of the file size.
    You can right-click an entry in the download list to pause or resume its download. To stop the download process, click
    Stop
    . To restart the download, click
    Start Download
    .
Rules and Guidelines for Downloading Reference Data
Consider the following rules and guidelines when you download the reference data:
  • If you click the Back button when a download is in progress, the Database Download Manager client aborts the download process. If you exit the client application while a download is in progress, the Database Download client aborts the download process.
  • You cannot select a database for download if you are not eligible to download the database. Use the Check All option to select all of the databases that you are eligible to download.
