Filter Options and Database Information

Filter Options and Database Information

The data download client application that you install lists the reference databases available for download and contains the filter options that you can apply to download the databases that you require.

Filter Options

Use the following options to filter the databases:
Country
The name of the country for which you want to view or download reference address databases. The option appears for the version 5.x and version 6.x downloads.
Database Types
The type of reference address database that you want to view or download. For example, Batch and Interactive or Fast Completion. Or, the type of version 6.x process for which you want to view or download data, for example Verify or Enrich. The option appears for the version 5.x and version 6.x downloads.
Database Sub-Types
The type of version 6.x reference address database that you want to view or download. For example, Batch and Interactive or Certified. The option appears for the version 6.x downloads.
In version 5.x, you use the
Database Type
 field to identify the type of reference data to download. In version 6.x, you use both the
Database Types
 and
Database Sub-types
 fields.
Database Update For
The earliest version of the reference databases that you want to view or download, based on the database release cycle. The option appears for the version 5.x and version 6.x downloads.
You can choose the following options:
  • All Releases. Any update available for the databases that meet the specified criteria, regardless of the release date of the database file. This is the default option.
  • Current Release. Any eligible file updated in the latest database release cycle.
  • Last 2 Releases. Any eligible file updated in the last two database release cycles.
  • Last 3 Releases. Any eligible file updated in the last three database release cycles.
Versions
The AddressDoctor engine version with which you will use the databases that you download. The Download Manager can filter out the databases that are not compatible with the version that you select. The option appears for the version 5.x and version 6.x downloads.
For version 5.x downloads, the engine versions are disabled by default. Select
Change Version
 to enable and select the engine versions for which you download the databases.

Database Information

The Database Download Manager client displays the following details about the reference databases:
Country Name
The country name. The option appears for the version 5.x and version 6.x downloads.
File Name
The database file name. The option appears for the version 5.x and version 6.x downloads.
File Type
The database type, such as Batch and Interactive or Certified. The option appears for the version 5.x and version 6.x downloads.
DB Release Date
The date on which the database was released. The option appears for the version 5.x and version 6.x downloads.
Size
Size of the database. The option appears for the version 5.x and version 6.x downloads.
Account/Accounts
The Data Quality Center account to which the database unlock code or the license key applies. The option appears for the version 5.x and version 6.x downloads.
Note that the option moves from the Database Information section to the Filter section for the version 6.x downloads.
Note that the option appears as Accounts in the Database Information section for the version 5.x downloads and as Account in the Filter section for the version 6.x downloads.
Download
Whether the database is included in the download operation that you propose. The option appears for the version 5.x and version 6.x downloads.
Engine Supported
The AddressDoctor engine version with which the database is compatible. The option appears for the version 5.x and version 6.x downloads.
