Updating South Korea Addresses

Example: Old Address to Current Address

Example: Old Address to Current Address

The example uses address information in the Latin script and the Hangul script.
The following address contains lot-based information and a non-current, six-digit post code:
247 Dangjeong-dong Gunpo-si, Gyeonggi-do 435-713 Korea
Informatica Address Verification returns the following address ID value for the address:
9899900BE6A56708D9D663275D
To return the current, street-based information and the current post code for the address, change the D in the address ID value to A. By default, Address Verification returns the address in the Hangul script.
The
PreferredScript
attribute determines the script for the output address. To return the address in the Latin script, select an ASCII or Latin option on the
PreferredScript
attribute. Find the
PreferredScript
attribute in the
Result
element of the
Parameters.xml
file.
The following table shows the output address in the Hangul and Latin scripts when you change the address ID character to A:

Output Address in the Latin Script
경기도 군포시 농심로 35
