Rules and Guidelines for South Korea Address Updates
When you update a South Korea address, consider the following rules and guidelines:
Informatica Address Verification does not verify building or sub-building data in a South Korea address. If you enter an address that contains building or sub-building data in batch or interactive mode, Address Verification copies the data to the output address.
Address Verification does not return building or sub-building data for a South Korea address in address code lookup mode. If you enter an address ID value for a South Korea address that contains building or sub-building data, you must add the relevant information to the output address. The building or sub-building data that you add to the output address must match the output address format.
If you set the
MatchingExtendedArchive
attribute to ON, Address Verification verifies and enriches lot-based address data and six-digit post code data. Address Verification returns an Extended Element Result status of F for the lot-based address elements and the six-digit post code elements.
If you set the
MatchingExtendedArchive
attribute to OFF, Address Verification considers only the current, street-based address and the current, five-digit post code to be valid. In such cases, Address Verification rejects or corrects an older, lot-based address.
