Third-Party JDBC Drivers

If you want to connect to sources, targets, and lookups through JDBC, install and configure a JDBC Type 4 driver from a third-party vendor.
To import metadata in the Developer tool, copy the third-party JDBC driver jar file to the following location:
<Informatica installation directory>\clients\externaljdbcjars
To run data previews, profiles, or mappings, copy the JDBC driver jar file to the following location:
<Informatica installation directory>\externaljdbcjars
