When you run discovery on flat files that do not use UTF-8 encoding for character data, profiling fails and an exception appears.

When you run discovery on XML files in Amazon S3 or File System resources, profile results do not appear for files that include a column name with special characters such as an underscore (_) or white spaces.

If a column name in a resource ends with a space, the profiling scanner does not run the profile on the column.

Unable to view a task on the

Monitoring

page in Catalog Administrator if there is no schedule configured for the task. The Catalog Administrator displays the

Schedule '[UNDEFINED]' not found

error message when you click the task.
