Rules and Guidelines for Hierarchical Data Preview

Consider the following rules and guidelines when you work with hierarchical data preview:
  • Dynamic mappings with hierarchical data types are not supported.
  • Date fields will have an additional timestamp component (00:00:00) in the data viewer.
  • You can view the logs in the following location:
    <Install location>/logs/<node name>/services/DataIntegrationService/disLogs/ms
    . You cannot view the logs from the Developer tool.
  • You cannot preview hierarchical data on an Expression transformation configured for windowing.
  • You cannot preview hierarchical data in transformations that contain multiple output groups.
