Delivery Point Validation Footnote 2 Usage

Select Delivery Point Validation Footnote 2 to view a coded description of the DPV status of the address. Delivery Point Validation Footnote 2 is a two-letter code.
The USPS groups DPV footnote information in a single string. To generate a complete DPV result string, select the following ports:

The input address matches a military address.
G1
The input address matches a general delivery address. An address is considered "general delivery" if the addressee cannot receive mail at a physical mailbox. General delivery addressees can collect mail at a USPS post office.
U1
The input address matches a unique ZIP Code.
