Update Connection Properties

If you upgraded the Informatica platform, update the Kafka and AmazonKinesis connection properties. Review connections that you created in a previous release to update the values for connection properties.

Based on the data objects in the streaming mapping, update the following connections before you run the mapping:

AmazonKinesis: Update the region before you run a streaming mapping that contains an AmazonKinesis data object. Perform the following steps:
Delete the existing AmazonKinesis connection and create a new connection with the same name. Specify the region where the endpoint for your service is available.
Update the AmazonKinesis data object properties with the new connection details.
Kafka: Configure the version of the Kafka messaging broker. Select
0.8.x.x-0.10.0.x
