Subscribing to a Topic in the Catalog

Subscribing to a Topic in the Catalog

Use the Navigator to view the topic catalog and to subscribe to one or more topics.
  1. In the Navigator, click
    Hub Management
    Catalog
    .
    The
    Catalog
     page appears.
    You can perform a free text search to find topics in the catalog or search for topics based on topic tags.
  2. To view topic details, click the
    Details
     icon next to the topic that you want to view.
    The
    Topic Details
     pane displays basic information about the topic and a list of subscribers.
  3. To subscribe to a topic, perform the following steps to create a subscription:
    1. Click the
      Subscribe
       icon next to the topic to which you want to subscribe.
      The
      Create Subscription
       dialog box appears.
    2. Select the following entities and then click
      OK
      :
      • Application Name. Subscribing application.
      • Subscription Type. Type of subscription to use when subscribing to the topic.
      The
      Create Subscription
       dialog box closes. The subscription wizard for the type of subscription that you selected appears.
    3. Follow the steps in the subscription wizard.
    The subscription is added to the subscribers list of the topic.
