The following table describes the advanced properties that you can configure for a Microsoft Azure Blob Storage data object read operation:

Property	Description
Number of concurrent connections to Blob Store	The number of concurrent connections to Blob Store to download files. Default is 4.
Compression Format	Decompresses data when you read data from Microsoft Azure Blob Storage. You can decompress the data in the following formats: None . Select None to decompress files with the deflate and snappy formats. Bzip2 Gzip Lzo Default is None. You can read files that use the Bzip2 and Lzo compression formats in the non-native environments.
Source Type	Select the type of source from which you want to read data. You can select the following source types: File Directory Default is File . Applicable to the Spark mode. The directory read is not applicable to the binary file type.
Blob Name Override	Overrides the file name.
Blob Container Override	Overrides the default container name. You can specify the container name or sub-folders with an absolute or a relative path. You must not use only slash '\' in the relative path to avoid creating folders without any names.
