Row Limit

Row Limit

Use the row limit in the Application Source Qualifier to retrieve a specific number of rows.
The PowerCenter Integration Service retrieves the number of rows based on the value entered. If you do not enter a value, the PowerCenter Integration Service retrieves all the rows. For example, you can test a mapping by retrieving a sample of rows.
If you configure sorted ports in the Application Source Qualifier, the PowerCenter Integration Service retrieves the number of rows based on the sorted data output. If you do not configure sorted ports in the Application Source Qualifier, the PowerCenter Integration Service retrieves the number of rows based on the behavior of the third party server.
