Configuring PowerExchange for Email Server

Configuring PowerExchange for Email Server

To configure PowerExchange for Email Server, complete the following steps:
  1. Create a registry entry for PowerExchange for Email Server on the client machine:
    1. Access the following location:
      <Informatica installation directory>\clients\PowerCenterClient\client\bin
    2. Run the
      PWX_EMAIL_64.reg
       file to create the registry entry.
  2. Register the PowerExchange for Email Server plug-in.
After you configure PowerExchange for Email Server, you can create connections to access mail servers. Create a Data Source Name (DSN) on the PowerCenter Client machine to import email definitions. Create connection objects in the Workflow Manager so the PowerCenter Integration Service can connect to mail servers.
