Preparing the SAP HANA Server for PowerExchange CDC

The configuration tasks for PowerExchange CDC depend on whether the SAP HANA source database resides on Windows or Linux:

If the SAP HANA database is on Windows, download the appropriate ODBC driver from https://tools.hana.ondemand.com/#hanatools. You can specify the Data Source Name or configure the connection with the host name and port number.

If the SAP HANA database is on Linux, download the appropriate ODBC driver from https://tools.hana.ondemand.com/#hanatools. You must specify the DSN on Linux, along with the host name and port number.

Download and install the SAP HANA client and JDBC driver from https://developers.sap.com/tutorials/hana-clients-install.html.
