As of PowerExchange 10.5, Informatica recommends that you use TLS network security on IBM i machines in preference to PowerExchange alternate network security.
Alternate network security, which is described in the
PowerExchange Reference Manual
, is still supported but should be used only in exceptional circumstances. Informatica recommends that you to transition to TLS network security.
