PowerExchange Logger Warns When the Current Active Log RBA Is Near the Maximum RBA

PowerExchange Logger Warns When the Current Active Log RBA Is Near the Maximum RBA

The PowerExchange Logger for z/OS now writes new messages PWXEDM172600W and PWXEDM172601I to the EDMMSG message data set and the SYSLOG to warn you when the current RBA position in the active log is reaching the maximum value of FFFFFFFFFFFF in the RBA range. With these messages, you can implement automation monitoring so that you're warned well before the active log runs out of RBAs and you can plan for a reset of the active log.
