Lookup Transformations

Lookup Transformations

In PowerCenter, you can add a Lookup transformation to a mapping to look up data in an IMS database. You should use a separate netport job for each Lookup transformation for PCBs with a “GOx” PROCOPT.
When creating Lookup transformations, specify the key fields of the IMS segments so that PowerExchange can create a fully qualified Segment Search Argument (SSA) to improve the efficiency of IMS database searching.
