The new PWXUGSK utility generates reports that contain SSL information for a PowerExchange Listener on z/OS. The utility runs on z/OS.
The utility includes the following commands:
PING. Verifies that the following items to ensure that connection to the remote PowerExchange Listener can succeed:
The specified user ID has the authority to view security certificates for the PowerExchange Listener on z/OS.
The certificates are current and valid.
The AT-TLS rules can intercept inbound requests, remove the TLS information, and send TCP/IP packets to the PowerExchange Listener.
REPORT_CERTIFICATES. Prints a report of certificate information from a RACF keyring or SAF database.
REPORT_CIPHERS. Prints a report of the cipher suites that are available for a specific user.
REPORT_ERROR_CODES. Prints a report that lists error codes that were returned from the z/OS system during an attempt to establish a secure connection to the PowerExchange Listener on z/OS. These errors are also written to messages in the TCP/IP JES message log.
