EDMUOPTS Utility

EDMUOPTS Utility

You can use the new EDMUOPTS utility to get information about the z/OS components of PowerExchange CDC.
The EDMUOPTS utility generates reports about the contents of the PowerExchange EDMSDIR and EDMUOPTS modules. These modules are created during installation based on your entries in the z/OS Installation Assistant. The EDMUOPTS module contains settings that PowerExchange uses to control the PowerExchange Logger for z/OS and its archiving process. The EDMSDIR module is used by the PowerExchange Agent and stores parameters for the Agent and CDC components.
Informatica Global Customer Support might ask you to run this utility to determine which options are in use for CDC components. Also, you might want to run the utility to record the current options before making changes to the EDMSDIR and EDMUOPTS modules or to print the options in effect for documentation purposes.
For more information, see the "EDMUOPTS - Service Aid Utility" chapter in the
PowerExchange Utilities Guide
