WRKJRNLCKE Utility Overview

Use the WRKJRNLCKE utility on an IBM i system where PowerExchange is installed to list journal entries that PowerExchange has locked. You can optionally delete the journal entries that are associated with inactive PowerExchange jobs.

When PowerExchange task on IBM i ends abnormally or if a task is forced to end before it completes, locked journal entries might not be released. This utility allows you to view orphaned journal entries and optionally delete those entries that are no longer associated with active PowerExchange jobs.
