Applying the client hotfix

Applying the client hotfix

When you apply the hotfix, the installer backs up existing directories, applies the new version of the client, and restores or updates required configuration and run-time files.
You can run the client installer to apply a hotfix to Informatica clients that you use. After you apply the hotfix, you can remove the backup files of the distribution packages from the backup folder.
