The following table describes the address data cleansing rules in the Italy accelerator:

Name	Description
rule_ITA_Address_Parse_Hybrid	Parses unstructured Italy addresses into address elements. The rule does not validate the addresses. Use the rule when you can connect the input address fields to the Hybrid input ports on the Address Validator transformation.
rule_ITA_Address_Parse_Multiline	Parses unstructured Italy addresses into address elements. The rule does not validate the addresses. Use the rule when you can connect the input address fields to the Multiline input ports on the Address Validator transformation.
rule_ITA_Address_Validation_Discrete	Validates the deliverability of Italy addresses. The rule corrects errors in the input addresses where possible. Use the rule when you can connect the input address fields to the Discrete input ports on the Address Validator transformation.
rule_ITA_Address_Validation_Discrete_w_Geocoding	Validates the deliverability of Italy addresses and adds latitude and longitude coordinates to each output address. The rule corrects errors in the input addresses where possible. Use the rule when you can connect the input address fields to the Discrete input ports on the Address Validator transformation.
rule_ITA_Address_Validation_Hybrid	Validates the deliverability of Italy addresses. The rule corrects errors in the input addresses where possible. Use the rule when you can connect the input address fields to the Hybrid input ports on the Address Validator transformation.

rule_ITA_Comune_Validation	Validates a comune name in Italy. A comune is a basic administrative division in Italy, roughly equivalent to a township or municipality.
rule_ITA_External_Postcode_Validation	Validates that an input string is a valid post code for a mail item that originates outside of Italy. An external post code includes the prefix I or IT.
rule_ITA_Local_Postcode_Validation	Validates that an input string is a valid post code for a mail item that originates within Italy. An internal post code does not use a prefix.
rule_ITA_Postcode_Parse	Parses an internal or external Italian post code from an input string.
rule_ITA_Postcode_Standardization	Standardizes the postcode in an Italy address to the standard format.
