Step 5. Bind Mapping Outputs to Mapping Parameters

Bind the mapping output to the configured mapping parameter.
  1. Click the editor to access the mapping properties.
  2. Open the
    Parameters
     view.
  3. For the parameter col_id_val that you defined to accept the persisted mapping output, use the drop down menu in the
    Binding
     column to select the mapping output Output_ID.
On subsequent runs of the mapping, the persisted value for Output_ID will be passed to the mapping parameter col_id_val. The following image shows the mapping parameters: The Parameters view shows the two mapping parameters col_id_val and col_id_name. The parameter col_id_val has the type double, precision set to 15, scale set to 0, default value set to 0.0, and binding set to Output_ID.
