In the MetaDex tool, you can configure a Teradata MetaDex scanner to extract views for column data types. You can configure the Enable Teradata view column data type parameter under the Database object reader section during scanner configuration in the Expert mode. By default, the parameter is set to true (default).

The scanner supports Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) based calculated tables.

The Databricks MetaDex scanner includes the following enhancements:

You can extract metadata from Unity Catalog. Additionally, you can retrieve lineage captured by Unity Catalog.
You can extract metadata from Hive Metastore and extract Databricks workspaces without Unity Catalog.
You can use the Databricks Notebook to extract Azure Data Factory metadata.

In the Enterprise Data Catalog tool, you can view the primary and foreign keys for the tabular assets extracted by an IBM Db2 MetaDex scanner.

The IICS V2 scanner includes the following enhancements:

You can scan mappings that read data from or write data to an Amazon Redshift V1 data source.
You can use the scanner to scan mappings that read data from a Workday data source.
The scanner extracts Cloud Data Integration (CDI) mapping tasks that are executed in a task flow. The scanner does not extract task flows as objects.
