idrcmd Application

Data Replication uses the idrcmd application to execute Server Manager commands. You can run the idrcmd application on the source system, on the target system, or on a standalone system that can access the Server Manager system.
To start the idrcmd application, run one of the following scripts that Data Replication provides in the top-level installation directory:
  • On Windows, run idrcmd.bat.
  • On Linux and UNIX, run idrcmd.sh.
You can run the idrcmd application in interactive or non-interactive mode:
  • In interactive mode, you invoke the idrcmd application once to open an IDRCMD prompt from which you enter commands in text form.
  • In non-interactive mode, you invoke the idrcmd application each time you want to run a single command. You enter a command as a command line parameter for the idrcmd application.
