Interactive Mode

Use interactive mode if you want to manage replication jobs from a system that does not have a graphical environment.

To use interactive mode, start the idrcmd application to open an IDRCMD prompt. Then enter Server Manager commands at the prompt. The idrcmd application executes the commands.

After you enter the connect command to connect to the Server Manager, the Server Manager CLI establishes a Server Manager session and stores the session state in the idrcmd application memory. All subsequent commands are executed in the context of this session. After you disconnect from the Server Manager or quit from the IDRCMD prompt, the Server Manager CLI closes the Server Manager session.
