Step 3. Sign the Certificate

Use the openssl command to sign the certificate.
  1. Sign the certificate:
    openssl ca -config <conf file name> -out <server cert>.crt -infiles <server cert>.req
    For example:
    openssl ca -config openssl.cnf -out myserver.crt -infiles myserver.req
