The

rename

command uses the

name

parameter. The value of the

name

parameter is the name that you want to set for the Dynamic Data Masking Server. The command uses the following syntax:

server
  rename <name>

For example, you might enter the following command:

server rename Informatica_DDM

On Linux and UNIX, Dynamic Data Masking does not check to verify that the Dynamic Data Masking Server name you choose is not in use. Before you change the Server name, make sure that there is not a Dynamic Data Masking Server in the same environment with the same name.
