Apply the client hotfix in graphical mode

When you run the installer in graphical mode, a console window opens and runs in the background. If you close this window, the installation stops.

Log in to the machine with a system user account. The user account must be the same account used to install the previous version of Informatica services.

Close all other applications.

To begin the installation, run

install.bat

from the root directory where you unzipped or untarred the client hotfix installation package.

On the Informatica 10.5.3 page, select Apply the hotfix to version 10.5, 10.5.1, or 10.5.2 or roll back the hotfix
, and then click Start
.

The

Installation Type

page appears.

Select Apply the hotfix
to choose to apply the hotfix.

Verify that all requirements are met before you continue the hotfix, and then click Next
.

The

Installation Directory

page appears.

Enter the absolute path for the directory in which the current version of the Informatica client is installed and specify the installation environment.

If you want to install distribution packages through the Informatica installer, select the check box.

If you choose to install distribution packages, select one or more packages from the list that you want to install.

Click Next
.

The

Pre-Installation Summary

page appears.

Review the installation information, and then click Install
to apply the hotfix.

The installer copies the Informatica files to the installation directory.

Complete the post-installation tasks. Verify that the hotfix completed successfully by reviewing the log file or the

Post-Installation Summary

page.
