Apply the services hotfix in console mode

Run the 10.5.3 installer to apply the hotfix to version 10.5 or 10.5.x.

When you apply the hotfix in console mode, the words Help, Quit, and Back are reserved words. Do not use them as input text.

Run the installer using the

./install.sh

command.

Press

to confirm that you want to proceed with the installation.

Press

to select the option to apply the hotfix.

Press

to apply the hotfix.

Press

to agree to the terms and conditions and apply the license.

Verify that all installation requirements are met before you continue to apply the hotfix.

Enter the directory where you installed Informatica 10.5 or 10.5.x.

The directory names in the path must not contain spaces or the following special characters: @|* $ # ! % ( ){ } [ ] , ; '

Select one of the following options based on the type of installation:

Press

to set Sandbox environment for a basic environment used for proof of concept with minimal users.

Press

to set Development environment for the design environment.

Press

to set Test environment for high volume processing that is closest to a production environment.

Press

to set Production environment for high volume processing with high levels of concurrency meant for end users. Advanced production environments are typically multi-node setups.

Default is

for Sandbox.

Choose whether you want to install distribution packages through the Informatica installer.

Press

if you don't need distribution packages or if you want to install them later.

Press

if you want to install distribution packages through the installer.

Default is 1.

If you choose to install distribution packages, select one or more packages from the list that you want to install. Separate multiple packages with a comma.

Default is 1.

Press

Enter

At the Pre-Installation Summary, review the installation information and press

Enter

to apply the hotfix.

The installer copies the Informatica files to the installation directory.

At the Post-Installation Summary, verify that the hotfix application completed successfully and press

Enter

to exit the installer.
