Creating a Mapping

Creating a Mapping

The first step in the process of moving data between sources and targets is to create a mapping in the Mapping Designer.
To create a mapping:
  1. Open the Mapping Designer.
  2. Click Mappings > Create, or drag a repository object into the workspace.
  3. Enter a name for the new mapping and click OK.
The naming convention for mappings is m_
    MappingName
    , such as m_ResearchProjects.
