Configuring the target field order

For flat file targets created at run time, you can define the target field order. Configure the field order on the

Target Fields

page.

By default, the

Target Fields

page displays fields in the order in which they enter the target. When you reorder the fields,

Data Integration

writes the fields to the target in the order that you specify.

On the

Targets

page, create a new target object at run time and then select

Yes

to modify the order of the target fields.

On the

Target Fields

page, select one or more fields to move.

To move fields, click

Move Up

Move Down

When you're finished, click
