Creating a Custom Tab to Access the Lightning Components

You can create a custom tab for the Lightning Scout component to access Lightning components.
  1. In Lightning Experience, perform the following tasks:
    1. Click the quick access menu ( The image shows the quick access menu. 
					 ) and then click
      Setup Home
      .
      The
      Setup Home
      page appears.
    2. Under
      PLATFORM TOOLS
      , click
      User Interface
      Tabs
      .
    The
    Custom Tabs
    page appears.
  2. In the
    Lightning Component Tabs
    section, click
    New
    .
    The
    New Lightning Component Tab
    page appears.
  3. Perform the following tasks:
    1. Select the Lightning component for which you want to create the tab.
      For the record creation page, select
      DSE:DS_LT_CC360_ScoutComponent
      .
    2. Enter a label for the tab.
      The tab name gets automatically populated when you click the field. You can also enter a different tab name.
    3. Select a tab style.
    4. Optionally, enter a description for the tab.
    5. Click
      Next
      .
    6. Select the user profiles for which the tab must be available.
    7. Click
      Save
      .
