Batch Acceleration Level

Batch Acceleration Level

The batch acceleration level determines the inclusiveness of the exact match on the matching segment. You can increase the batch acceleration level to increase fuzzy matching performance.
The batch acceleration level is the number of characters of the match segment that Cloud MDM uses to match. For example, if you set the batch acceleration level to 10, then the first 10 characters of the match segment must match before the records can proceed to the fuzzy matching process.
CC360
eliminates any record whose first 10 characters of the matching segment do not match another record from the fuzzy matching process.
Start with a low batch acceleration level to be more inclusive in your fuzzy match. You can then increase the batch acceleration level to exclude more records from the match process to improve fuzzy matching performance. If you increase the batch acceleration level too much, you might exclude matching records from the fuzzy matching process.
CC360
does not consider records excluded from the fuzzy matching process as matches.
