Additional Purpose

Use the
Product
 purpose to identify and match the products by names, description, and other details, such as model numbers. Matching in batches requires other attributes in addition to the product name to make match decisions.
You can specify the following fields for a product:
Product_Name
Use the
Product_Name
 field to search and match the names of products by using word pairs or a bigram.
Product_Description
Optional. Use the
Product_Description
 field to search and match the description of products by using word pairs or a bigram.
Model_Number
Optional. Use the
Model_Number
 field to match the model number of products. The
Model_Number
 field is a matching field that compares two strings to match the product model numbers.
You can also specify other optional fields, such as
Attribute1
,
Attribute2
,
Code
,
ID
, and
Company_Name
.
