When you start the Search Server, you can use the

-disable-idtlock

switch that removes the lock on the Identity Table. If the Identity Table is not locked, you can run multiple Synchronization Servers in parallel. Use this switch with caution because multiple Synchronization Servers can process the transactions out of order and cause data integrity errors.
