Creating Persistent ID through the Console Client

Creating Persistent ID through the Console Client

You can create initial clusters through MDM Registry Edition Console Client.
  1. Click
    Tools
    Create PID
in the MDM Registry Edition Console Client. By default, MDM Registry Edition creates clusters and loads clusters into the system. The
    Create PID
    dialog box appears.
  2. Select the multi-search definition to create the Persistent-IDs.
  3. Select
    Create PID report only
to create the report. If you select the
    Create PID report only
option, MDM Registry Edition creates a Persistent-ID report in the work directory.
  4. Select
    Use consistent order
to use the same order for the data as in the identity table.
MDM Registry Edition creates the report in the same order as the identity table.
