Master Data Management (MDM) is the controlled process to enhance data reliability and data maintenance procedures for an organization.
Multidomain MDM
 is also referred to as the MDM Hub. The MDM Hub is deployed as part of a broader Data Governance program that includes a combination of technology, people, policy, and process. Plan the infrastructure for the MDM Hub deployment based on the data policy definitions, strategies, and objectives of your organization.
The MDM Hub has core and optional components. Decide on the components that you want in the MDM Hub environment. Also, you need to decide on the infrastructure components such as the operating system, database system, application server, and load balancers. Before you install and deploy the MDM Hub, be clear about your installation and deployment objectives. Also, you need to decide on an installation topology that meets your objectives.
To ensure successful implementation of the MDM Hub, collate the information that the MDM Hub implementers require in an installation requirements form.
