User Authentication and Password Encryption

Effective in version 10.1 HotFix 1, you can configure authentication for URLs in Informatica Data Director. When authentication is enabled, when users log in, they pass their user name and password as part of the URL in Informatica Data Director. You can also configure Informatica Data Director to pass the user name and password in an encrypted format.
