When you update the searchable field properties, some of the indexes might become outdated and dirty. You can run the Initially Index Smart Search Data batch job to clean the outdated indexes. The Batch Viewer tool of the MDM Hub Console displays a warning icon for a child business entity node when the node requires reindexing.
