Assigning Privileges to the MDM Hub Roles

Assign the appropriate privileges to the MDM Hub roles after you deploy the Informatica Data Director (IDD) application. To assign privileges to the MDM Hub roles, use the Roles tool in the MDM Hub Console.

In the Security Access Manager workbench, click

Roles

Acquire a write lock.

Select the

DataSteward

role.

Assign the appropriate permissions to each resource.

To ensure that users belonging to a role can be assigned tasks that the MDM Hub generates, you must assign read, create, update, and merge permissions to all content metadata resources for the applicable base objects.

Assign the appropriate permissions to each custom resource.

Click

Save

Assign permissions to the

Manager

and

SrManager

roles in the same way.
