Load Balancing

Load Balancing

Load balancing is the ability of a system to distribute workloads to the available resources. You can achieve load balancing with Process Servers deployed on standalone application server instances.
The Process Server instances of an MDM Hub implementation use an internal load balancing mechanism. You do not need the load balancing capabilities of application server clusters. You can install and deploy the MDM Hub on standalone application servers and use the load balancing capabilities of the Process Server. When you install and deploy the MDM Hub on standalone application servers, use the load balancing capabilities of the Process Server.
To use outbound JMS message queues or load balance Hub Console operations, deploy the Hub Server instances in an application server cluster. Do not deploy the Process Server instances in an application server cluster.
