Auto-Delete and Auto-Promote Enhancements

Auto-Delete and Auto-Promote Enhancements

Informatica Multidomain MDM now includes the following Auto-Delete and Auto-Promote enhancements:
  • Auto-Delete
    . You can use the Auto-Delete feature in conjunction with the Load Batch method. You cannot call the PUT SIF API to delete a cross-reference record.
  • Auto-Promote
    . A soft-deleted cross-reference record is now automatically reactivated (set to Active status) and you can edit it. The Auto-Promote feature is a part of the Put SIF API.
The following behavior is now enabled:
  • When one edit record is associated with one cross-reference record:
    • Edit record is auto-deleted when you delete a cross-reference record.
  • When one edit record is associated with multiple cross-reference records:
    • Edit record is auto-deleted only when you delete the last remaining Active cross-reference.
  • When multiple edit records are associated with multiple cross-reference records:
    • All edit records are auto-deleted after you delete the last remaining Active cross-reference record.
  • When a Source cross-reference is reactivated or a new Active cross-reference is added:
    • A PUT SIF API Edit call (PUT SIF API without
      PKEY_SOURCE_OBJECT
      , but with
      ROWID_OBJECT
      ), used by Data Director, automatically reactivates the edit record selected by MDM Hub.
  • When one edit record is associated with one cross-reference record, unmerge of the cross-reference record includes the edit record as well.
