Editing and Deleting Resource Groups

You can use the Secure Resources tool to edit or delete resource groups.

Start the Secure Resources tool.

Acquire a write lock.

Click the

Resource Groups

tab.

Select the resource group whose properties you want to edit or delete.

Click the

Edit

button to edit a resource group.

Click the

Remove

button to remove a resource group.

The Secure Resources tool displays the Assign Resources to Resource Group dialog box. Or the Secure Resources tool removes the deleted resource from the Resource Groups node.

Edit the resource group name.

Click the plus (+) sign to expand the resource hierarchy.

Select the

Show Only Resources Selected for this Resource Group

check box.

Select the resources that you want to assign to this resource group.

Clear the resources that you want to remove from this resource group.

Click
