Configuring the Runtime Settings for a Portal

Configuring the Runtime Settings for a Portal

The runtime settings include timeout interval, password reset link expiry time, and password policy.
  1. In the Portal Configuration tool, click the
    Action
    icon on the portal for which you want to configure the runtime settings.
  2. Select
    Runtime Settings
    .
    The
    Runtime Settings
    page appears.
  3. Configure the following settings:
    Session Timeout Interval
    Idle time after which a login session times out. Default is 420 minutes.
    Session Timeout Warning Time
    Number of minutes before a session times out you want to display a warning message. Default is 60 minutes.
    Password Reset Link Expiry Time
    Time period after which the password reset link must expire. Use the hh:mm:ss format. Default is 1:00:00.
    Password Policy
    Password policy that you want to use for the portal. The policy appears in the sign up page.
    Username
    Name of the user with administrative privileges to access the portal.
    Ensure that you add a unique administrator user for the portal.
