Editing a Grid

You can edit a grid to change the description, add nodes to the grid, or remove nodes from the grid.

Before you remove a node from the grid, disable the Data Integration Service process running on the node.

In the Administrator tool, click the

Manage

tab >

Services and Nodes

view.

Select the grid in the Domain Navigator.

To edit the grid, click

Edit

in the

Grid Details

section.

You can change the grid description, add nodes to the grid, or remove nodes from the grid.

Click

If you added or removed a node from a Data Integration Service grid configured to run jobs in separate remote processes, recycle the Data Integration Service for the changes to take effect.
