At the command line, type:

pmpasswd <password>

pmpasswd
returns the encrypted password.

In a UNIX C shell environment, type:

setenv <Password_Environment_Variable> <encrypted password>

In a UNIX Bourne shell environment, type:

<Password_Environment_Variable> = <encrypted password>
export <Password_Environment_Variable>
