You participate as an insurance agent in a blockchain that manages the vehicle lifecycle. Your goal is to improve how manufacturers and dealers handle vehicles as they are built and sold to consumers.
Before a manufacturer or dealer prepares insurance for a vehicle, the blockchain verifies that the manufacturer and the dealer have the proper certificates and comply with government regulations. If verification fails, the blockchain logs a suspicious message for the vehicle.
As an insurance agent, you access the suspicious messages to learn about the state of a vehicle and approve the vehicle to be insured. To make sure that manufacturers and dealers handle the suspicious messages promptly, you design a mapping that connects to the blockchain to get the suspicious message for each vehicle and generates an alert for the manufacturer or dealer that is responsible for the vehicle.
